A seasoned business executive with years of experience in engineering, Mr. Jenssen presently excels as the vice president of program development for POWER Engineers. In this capacity, he has liaised with other executives and ensured that his program teams have the staff and budget needed to complete the management of major programs. Prior to obtaining his current position, he owned his own business where he positioned an international company for success in the T&D business in the US, worked as the vice president of marketing and engineering for EPS, and the vice president and project manager of Burns and McDonell Engineering. During the early stages of his career, Mr. Jenssen gained valuable professional construction expertise with the Department of Transportation as a project manager and inspector.
In conjunction with his work, Mr. Jenssen has contributed to his community as a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity and the local humane society. Likewise, he has donated to local animal shelters, hospices, and various other charitable organizations. An expert in his field, he earned a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from South Dakota State University in 1985. While his career has been filled with standout moments, Mr. Jenssen takes the most pride in helping Burns and McDonell grow into what it is today.
Though hard work and dedication have brought him far in his career, Mr. Jenssen credits his overall success to his love of what he does and the many mentors along the way.
