During the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Ms. Arakaki established Compass in the state of Hawaii, where she specializes in luxury real estate. As the acting principal broker at the time, she was in charge of overseeing the establishing of offices and brokers across the state of Hawaii's various islands. Currently she is a broker on the island of Maui with her own team of agents that work under the Compass umbrella.
Prior to Compass, she was a broker and partner for the island of Maui with Elite Pacific Properties, a boutique luxury, locally owned state wide brokerage. She also worked as a broker for West Maui Land Development and Sales and Coldwell Banker.
During the early years Debbie ran her own business with her husband in the restaurant business and grew it from one to 4 types of food establishments over 20 years. Debbie and her husband also originated Lahaina Music in Lahaina.
