Dr. Jean-Philippe is noted for her success and tenure at PM Pediatric Care in New York City as a pediatric urgent care physician since 2014 and regional medical director since 2021. Leveraging more than a decade of expertise to the team, she specializes in pediatric emergency room care and urgent care medicine. As a part of her responsibilities, Dr. Jean-Philippe oversees the medical director's staff at six different locations and monitors the clinical and operational performances of the locations throughout the region. She also ensures that all facilities follow evidence-based guidelines and that the quality of the patient experience is maintained at all their office locations.
As an experienced medical director, Dr. Jean-Philippe has also provided her expertise at PM Pediatrics of Bellerose since 2021. She previously held the same position at PM Pediatrics of Carle Place and PM Pediatrics of Rockville Centre from 2019 to 2022. Additionally, Dr. Jean-Philippe found success as a pediatric emergency physician at several other hospitals throughout New York and New Jersey between 2009 and 2019.
Dr. Jean-Philippe strives to remain abreast of evidence-based medicine, which has allowed her to remain flexible amid guideline changes. As she progresses in her field, she aims to continue providing expert patient care and aspires to lead several research projects at PM Pediatrics. Among various accomplishments, Dr. Jean-Philippe authored an article in a 2010 edition of the Pediatric Emergency Medicine Newsletter about her research, titled 'Vaccination and a Visit to the Community ED.'
During her career, Dr. Jean-Philippe volunteered as a mentor at the Covenant House in New York from 2011 to 2014. She also spent two weeks in Haiti on a mission trip providing physician care in the aftermath of an earthquake.
Dr. Jean-Philippe graduated from Columbia High School in 1996 before enrolling at Montclair State University, through which she received a Bachelor of Science in biology with a minor in chemistry in 2000. She was accepted to Ross University shortly thereafter and earned a Doctor of Medicine in 2005. Additional educational pursuits to Dr. Jean-Philippe's credit include the completion of a residency in pediatrics at New York Medical College in 2009.
To further support her career in the industry, Dr. Jean-Philippe has been elected a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She also maintains membership with the American Health Council.
Honoring her achievements, Dr. Jean-Philippe was named as an Outstanding Intern of the Year by New York Medical College while completing her residency. She was also the recipient of a Best of the Best Award as the World's Greatest Pediatrician by the nursing staff at Metropolitan Hospital Pediatric in 2009.
