Mr. Hamada initially began his career working in the lamp stamp and tube division of the Toshiba Corporation in Tokyo, Japan from 1957 to 1960, followed by his involvement in the overseas operations of the company from 1960 to 1962. Between 1962 and 1965, he was active as a liaison at the Toshiba Corporation in New York, and later advanced to the role of manager at Toshiba America Inc. Following this post, Mr. Hamada excelled as the director of electronic data processing at Toshiba America Inc. in New York from 1970 to 1985.
Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Hamada pursued an education at Keio University in Tokyo, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics in 1957. As a commitment to his field, he was active with several industry-related organizations, including the Japan-U.S. Communication Association, the Institution for Information Studies through the Aspen Institute, the American Management Association and the Association of Information Technology Professionals. Additionally, he was elected as a fellow of the Society for Information Management and the Data Processing Management Association. Likewise dedicated to civic advocacy, Mr. Hamada contributes to the Sussex County Historical Society and the Vernon Township Rotary Club.
Well-regarded for his contributions to the field, Mr. Hamada has received the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award and has been included in the Who's Who in America, as well as the Marquis Who's Who in the World publications. Additionally, he has been recognized as a Marquis Who's Who of Top Professionals, and featured in Forbes Magazine and The Feature Magazine.
