Ms. Judge enjoyed a fulfilling career as an educator that spanned over four decades. As a teacher with School District #10 from 1993 to 2022, she drew on her natural rapport with children to instill in her students a love of learning and a sense of belonging in her classroom. Also known as a talented and supportive colleague, Ms. Judge was a frequent mentor for new and student teachers.
Before venturing onto her vocational path, Ms. Judge earned a Bachelor of Science in elementary education and history from the University of Montana Western in 1980. During her teaching career, she returned to the classroom herself to obtain a master's degree in curriculum from Grand Canyon University in 2001. Ms. Judge's expertise and passion for teaching earned her a Milken Educator Award in 1998 and a spot in the University of Montana Western Education Hall of Fame in 2016.
Though her professional career has been filled with many memorable moments, Ms. Judge's proudest achievement is making an impact on the lives of her students; she is always deeply touched when students come back to visit years later to share their successes. She attributes her own success to the support of her colleagues and administrators, as well as her students and their families.
Ms. Judge is a member of Alpha Delta Kappa , and P.E.O., a women's organization that promotes and funds women's education. She is also a longtime board member of the United Way. Since retiring from teaching in 2022, she enjoys traveling and learning about different cultures. She is married and has one son and two daughters.
