A seasoned marketing and development professional, Mr. McLemore presently serves as a partner and the director of marketing and development for Power Temp Systems, Inc., through which he oversees product and market development for all portable and permanent power distribution systems and is heavily involved in the powering of data centers. Previously, he owned and worked as a marketing manager for Applied Production Services, APS Power, which he sold to Trystar and served as the director of power distribution. During the early stages of his career, Mr. McLemore gained valuable expertise in the field providing turnkey event rental and production services specializing in portable electrical, temperature control for large events.
During the early stages of his career, Mr. McLemore had the fortunate experience of his family having a tractor and equipment dealership which allowed him to learn from an early stage how to be hands on, become mechanically inclined and learn how to "MacGyver" solutions to everyday obstacles. This empowered him to develop and reverse engineer solutions throughout his career. He served in sales and design positions with such companies as Hertz Equipment, Aggreko, which had just opened in the US in 1986 and has since become the largest portable power rental company in the world, and Power Temp Systems, Inc. Driven to remain abreast of and helping drive ongoing industry changes, he aligns himself with the NEC/National Fire Protection Agency, the Electrical Generating Systems Association, the International Association of Electrical Inspectors, the American Rental Association, the American Restaurant Association, National Bankers Association and major testing/certification companies UL & ETL.
An expert in his field, Mr. McLemore holds a Bachelor of Arts in marketing from Sam Houston State University. Over the years, he has obtained several patents for Power Temp System's unique modular enclosure, buss and lug systems. In light of his professional achievements, he won the New Product of the Year Award through POWERGEN International. The cornerstone of his success lays in his alacrity, passion and enthusiasm for everything he does, and his desire to seek out the best possible solutions.
