Following several decades of excellence as an entrepreneur and system integration expert, Jeffrey W. Leach retired from his professional endeavors in 2015. As an information technology maven, his career journey was marked most notably by his reliability and high level of service, having availed himself on behalf of several chief information officers (CIOs) at a number of top Fortune 500 companies. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Leach worked as a private consultant in 2012, during which time he provided his expertise to various clients regarding cloud integration services, Artificial Intelligence, mobile security, and "internet of things" architecture.

Mr. Leach previously worked for more than a decade at IBM, where he held the title of senior software IT architect and earned distinction as a consultant on behalf of several prominent entities, including Deloitte, Price Waterhouse Coopers, Ernst and Young, and Accenture Consulting, among others. Throughout this period, which ranged from 1999 until 2012, Mr. Leach was lauded with several accolades, including a technical treasurer award, an "Opportunity Noticer" role model award, three vice president awards, multiple 100 percent sales club awards, beginning in 2007, a director's award, and a team award, to name only a few.

Mr. Leach laid the foundation for his prolific career at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange as a senior systems analyst from 1992 until 1998. During this time, his accomplishments ranged from designing data center monitors and procedures for special projects to implementing IBM's message and queuing system — one of the first 10 in the world to exist. Most honorably, Mr. Leach earned a Computer World Smithsonian award, leading his designs to be stored at the Smithsonian Institution for future generations. Mr. Leach was also asked to serve as a worldwide spokesperson for WebSphere MQ, a family of message-oriented middleware products by IBM, which called him to speak before approximately 130 CIOs in Mexico.

Throughout his career, Mr. Leach has presented at various industry conferences, seminars, and symposia. He also lectured at and facilitated numerous industry workshops. Most honorably, Mr. Leach was the only individual ever to be asked to serve as a worldwide spokesperson for a product made by The International Business Machines Corporation, which included travel to Mexico to speak to approximately 130 chief information officers (CIOs) in the field. Furthermore, Mr. Leach also had the opportunity to assist a multitude of other CIOs from top Fortune 500 companies with various system problems.

Deeply invested in charitable work, Mr. Leach has been active locally by participating in the American Heart Association Heart Walk every year since 2013. He has also volunteered with Habitat for Humanity by providing free administrative services and computer network consulting since 2015 and to Feed My Starving Children since 2018 by preparing meals for underprivileged youth. A devout Christian, Mr. Leach has served his congregation as a deacon, trustee and elder at First Presbyterian Church of Arlington Heights, Illinois, and by providing free transportation services to elderly congregation. Moreover, he has spent time volunteering with the Arlington Heights Historical Society as well as in his community, and helping intercity kids with homework.

He is a graduate of Friends Academy in Locust Valley NY, and a member of Sons of the American Revolution, and Vice President of the Badger Boat Club. His life story was published in the Chicago edition of The Wall Street Journal on October 25, 2023 as a Distinguished Business Leader chosen from a hand selected 1.5 million listees. His life story will also appear in Fortune magazine's April/May 2024 edition as one of eight of the Nation's Top Professionals.

Mr. Leach graduated from Syracuse University with a bachelor's degree in managerial economics in 1978. He subsequently pursued continuing education in computer science at New York University. Driven to remain abreast of changes in the field, he is a member of (ACM) Association for Computing Machinery and he is an Apple Developer Beta tester for iOS on iPhone and iPad and watchOS on Apple watch and joined Apple TestFlight to test Beta apps before they get to the public.

Honoring his professional accomplishments, Mr. Leach was recognized as the central region Sales Consultant of the Quarter for his exemplary efforts. Additionally, he was honored with the Technical Treasurer Award, the Opportunity Noticer Role Model Award, three Vice President Awards, multiple 100 Percent Club Awards, a Team Award, and a Director's Award through IBM. Mr. Leach notes his former mathematics teacher for his success in teaching him how to think creatively and to his mother, grandmother, and father for their encouragement and support.
