Noting that New Jersey's bankruptcy exemptions are not very kind, there have already been discussions for revision. As part of his efforts, Mr. Woerner would enjoy helping the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys to introduce or reintroduce legislation to better protect consumers both in his home state of New Jersey and nationwide.
Mr. Woerner became involved in his profession because he felt that becoming an attorney would be a perfect fit for him professionally. He also has several family members in the field. However, what Mr. Woerner did not realize was how much he would enjoy remaining on the bankruptcy side of the law, which requires a particular skill set for mathematics and numbers.
A New Jersey native, Mr. Woerner graduated from Ocean City High School in 2006. In preparation for his career, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in history from Coastal Carolina University and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Vermont Law School (now Vermont Law and Graduate School) in 2018. Mr. Woerner has been admitted to practice by the New Jersey Bar Association and the Federal District of New Jersey and received certification in business law. He previously worked as an associate attorney in Vineland, New Jersey between 2019 and 2021.
To better fulfill his legal obligations, Mr. Woerner remains affiliated with several professional organizations, including the Camden County Bar Association, the Burlington County Bar Association, and the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys.
