A native of Brazil who immigrated to the United States in 2018, Ms. Valentoni devoted 29 years to the practice of oral surgery and was honored with features in magazines and appearances on television programs. She prepared for her role as the head of a dental clinic in her home country by gaining exceptional training and superb academic credentials, including a Master of Science in prosthetics and a Master of Science in oral implantology, both earned at Goethe Dental School in Frankfurt, Germany. She has since garnered additional special industry training in the design and flavor development of chocolate by completing courses in professional chocolate production in Brazil, and Ms. Valentoni also frequents luxury stores and retailers for inspiration, especially those in Italy, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, England and France. Her comprehensive travel around Europe has expanded her knowledge exponentially and progressed her small business' potential.
Ms. Valentoni is gratified to have transitioned successfully from a career in oral surgery to deploy her distinctive skillset to the art of making chocolate and delivering flawless, unique designs. Her special painting and design techniques, born of natural talent and skill with her hands, reinforced by time in her career as an oral surgeon, bring incomparable beauty to the chocolates that she personally produces, one by one.
