Prior to her current role, Ms. Davis began her career as a mental health therapist with Basic Bliss Life Coaching and Counseling, LLC in 2018. She is also a valued member of the National Counseling Association. Prior to embarking on her professional journey, she earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences in behavioral sciences from the Community College of Philadelphia in 2009 and a Bachelor of Applied Science in substance abuse and addiction counseling from Drexel University in 2011. Following these achievements, she attained a master's degree in counselling psychology from Eastern University in 2018. Well-qualified in her field, she is a licensed professional counselor and national certified counselor.
Within the coming years, Ms. Davis intends to expand her private practice and include more clinicians so it will be more diverse. She also plans to establish recovery houses for Philadelphia residents where she can provide workshops for adolescents about how to navigate substance use with their peers. Having grown up with a mother who was addicted to drugs and alcohol, she saw firsthand the impact such trauma can have on a young person, leading her to dedicate herself to work as a therapist.
