She brings broad experience to her current appointment, including the completion of a clerkship with the Law Offices of Philip R. Brown between 2012 and 2013 and an internship with Hylands Law Firm in 2014. In 2015, she thrived as a legal extern for the Red Hat Society and accepted the position of judicial extern with the Van Nuys West Courthouse, after which Ms. Dao became a law clerk with Beitchman & Zekian, P.C. through 2016.
In 2018, Ms. Dao progressed to become a valued associate attorney with the Law Offices of Everardo Vargas Valencia APC, then advanced to the rank of managing partner with Wong & Dao from 2019 to 2021. In each of these distinct roles, she has relied on exceptional academic credentials, including a Bachelor of Business Administration in business management, international business, and management information systems from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, which she completed in 2012. Ms. Dao then pursued a Juris Doctor, with a concentration in business and intellectual property, at Whittier Law School, and she counts her 2016 completion of the JD as her proudest achievement thus far. During law school she was given 3 CALI Awards in Legal Aspects of Venture Capital & Private Equity, Lawyering Skills 3: Transactional, and Business Transactions: Art of the Deal.
Ms. Dao maintains membership in the Professional Liability Underwriting Society. She was recognized on the Hot List in December 2022 by the Lawyers of Color. She attributes her professional advancement to her parents, immigrants to the United States from Vietnam, for their exemplary model of determination and humility and their focus on higher education.
