Moreover, Ms. Uselding remains busy in her family business, Ungerman Inc., in Plymouth, Minnesota. Joining the company as a general manager when her father was part owner, she continually progressed and eventually bought out his half of the business in 2017 with her sister. Lindsey is now the co-owner and chief executive officer of Ungerman Inc. Initially founded in 1977, the privately held, family-owned construction company notably specializes in fire and water restoration and repair, storm damage repair, and various other types of repairs for residential and commercial customers.
Prior to her most recent achievements, Ms. Uselding spent more than a decade in retail with big-box retailer Target, beginning as an executive team leader in the Twin Cities from 2003 to 2006 and subsequently as a store director in Winona and Saint Cloud, Minnesota, between 2006 and 2012. She concluded her career with the organization as a manager of store communications in Minneapolis from 2012 to 2013.
Looking forward to much success in all her professional endeavors, Ms. Uselding's primary goal is to continue preventing as many emergencies as possible and empower homeowners and business owners to be more engaged in taking necessary safety measures. To ensure her place at the forefront of her industry, she is a high-standing member of the Better Business Bureau, recognized by the organization in 2021-2022 with a Torch Award for Ethics.
Invested in her community, Ms. Uselding has volunteered with various local initiatives via Ungerman Inc., including Feed My Starving Children since 2018 and Ronald McDonald House Charities since 2019. She also contributes annually to Toys for Tots and, since 2020, has served as an alum voice panel member at the University of Wisconsin at Madison in the school of business.
Ms. Uselding graduated from the University of Wisconsin at Madison with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources in 2002.
