Mr. Kelley previously found success as an electrical designer with Mustang Engineering from 2005 to 2020. During this tenure, he was responsible for designing electrical equipment for offshore and onshore refineries and platforms as well as designing lighting and cable trays and AutoCAD design work. Prior to this post, he served as an electrical designer and an electrical foreman for chemical plants with Huntsman, Lyondell and ExxonMobil over the course of 15 years. Mr. Kelley began his career working for an automotive dealership while still enrolled at Andhra High School in Conroe, Texas.
Noted as an expert in electrical engineering, Mr. Kelley initially obtained his license as an industrial electrician from the National Center for Construction Education Research in 2001. He subsequently earned his AutoCAD certification from Lone Star College in 2006. In 2012, he received his license as an electrical journeyman from the state of Texas. Additionally certified as a computer numerical control machinist, Mr. Kelley further completed the certification program in drafting at Montgomery County Community College.
Beyond his primary professional responsibilities, Mr. Kelley has proudly contributed to Toys for Tots in previous years, and is presently finalizing the line-up of charities that Vallie Automotive Center will work with in the near future. He has also been appointed as the president of the NAPA AutoCare Centers of Billings, Montana. Likewise, Vallie Automotive Center has been distinguished as NAPA Gold Certified.
As a testament to his exceptional endeavors, Mr. Kelley was recognized with a feature in Millennium Magazine. Furthermore, he was notably presented with the Readers' Choice Award from The Billings Gazette in 2021, which he acquired in less than a year after taking over the ownership of Vallie Automotive Center. Celebrated as a driven, hard-working, focused, goal-oriented and honest figure in his field, Mr. Kelley attributes his success to God, his refusal to slow down and the unwavering support of his loving wife, Renee.
Among the many highlights of his career, Mr. Kelley is proud to have received the Readers' Choice Award from The Billings Gazette, as it served as evidence of his ability to maintain the stellar quality of the shop's work.
