With more than two decades of excellence in computer systems engineering, Mr. Davies has earned distinction as an engineer and owner of A Stranger Chronicle, LLC. Since 2018, his company has provided computer systems engineering, software, and design consulting to a variety of industries, including cybersecurity, federated cryptography, and healthcare. Upon reaching the five-year mark with his company, Mr. Davies has re-focused his efforts back to his first love: music, providing recording audio production services, writing & arranging music, and designing electronics hardware to support the arts and creative processes.
Prior to assuming ownership of A Stranger Chronicle, LLC, Mr. Davies began his career writing software for and teaching classes on the GNU/Linux operating system at a startup company, followed by a stint at Apple Computer where he worked on cross-platform engineering and internally championed for the Unix-based operating system that would eventually become OSX. Following this time, he contracted at a variety of companies, learning and developing computer and software systems in the communications and fintech industries, as well as being an original architect of the nascent cloud computing market.
Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Davies completed coursework in music engineering technology at the Cogswell Polytechnical College. When he was in high school, he also participated in theatre performances with the Edinburgh Fringe Theatre Festival in Scotland. He was nominated for Best Original Music during this collaboration and was awarded at the Kennedy Center for his stellar work.
Within the coming years, Mr. Davies intends to continue making his company a thriving place for music production creativity, bringing the Phoenix area to a level of popularity on par with Hollywood or New York City. He plans for his own studio to become a world-class example of what's available, bringing high-quality audio production for all his clients.
