    BOSTON, MA, August 15, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jeffrey J. Arnold Sr. has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. For more than 25 years, Dr. Arnold has served his country in the U.S. Navy and currently holds the rank of Lieutenant Commander. Enlisting in the military at age 17 after graduating high school in Texas, he completed his military training and was assigned to the USS Enterprise in Norfolk, Virginia. Commissioned as a Limited Duty Officer (Intelligence), he was promoted to the rank of Ensign in 2010. After several subsequent positions, Dr. Arnold began serving as an element Executive Officer and Branch Chief at the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, Joint Intelligence Operations Center in 2020. In his present position, Dr. Arnold drives all operations and production, ensures U.S. Department of Defense guidance and policies are followed, and, among other obligations, is responsible for his team's readiness.

During his distinguished tenure, Dr. Arnold has served on many ships and staff commands at sea as an Intelligence and Information Warfare professional, including the USS Enterprise, the USS Benfold, and the USS Makin Island. He has also been deployed to support Operations Southern Watch, Desert Fox, Noble Anvil, Enduring Freedom, Maritime Interception, Iraqi Freedom, and Inherent Resolve. Adding to his invaluable devotion to the military, Dr. Arnold has written numerous articles and case studies.

Dr. Arnold plans to begin working at the Pentagon, through which he will deal with U.S. Navy programs and policies. He must first complete his 12-month mid-career Master of Public Administration at Harvard University, which he will begin in the fall of 2023. Ultimately, Dr. Arnold envisions working as a Foreign Service Officer after military retirement.

To prepare for his extensive military career, Dr. Arnold received a Bachelor of Arts in Intelligence Studies, with honors, from American Military University in 2014, a Master of Science in Management and Intelligence Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus in 2018, and a Doctor of Management in Organizational Development and Change from Colorado Technical University in 2022. He also completed extensive military education in basic aviation intelligence, expeditionary warfare intelligence, joint humanitarian operations, space operations, and other areas of the industry. Moreover, Dr. Arnold received numerous credentials, including as a qualified Information Warfare Officer, qualified intelligence organization management and planner, qualified foreign disclosure officer, and qualified unit sexual assault prevention and response point of contact.

Dr. Arnold is a professional member of the Naval Intelligence Professionals and the Society for Defense and Strategic Studies. He is also a member of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, Sigma Iota Rho Honor Society, the National Honor Society, the Golden Key International Honor Society, and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.

Recognizing his accomplishments, Dr. Arnold has been decorated with the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, six U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps Commendation Medals, five U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps Achievement Medals, four Good Conduct Medals, and a Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal. He was also recognized as the USS Benfold Sailor of the Year in 2007, the Commander, Naval Surface Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet Sailor of the Year in 2008, and the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps Leadership Award.
