MOORPARK, CA, August 23, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jo Swerling has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Backed by years of professional expertise in social media, team building, entertainment, and customer service, Mr. Swerling worked as the senior vice president of production at Cannell Studios between 1981 and 2001. In this capacity, he supervised every aspect of production for a number of television programs. During the early stages of his career, he gained valuable expertise in the entertainment industry as an executive producer, associate executive producer, producer, and associate producer for Revue Productions/Universal Television, subsidiaries of MCA, one of the world's largest talent agencies at the time.

Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Swerling dedicated himself to his country with the U.S. Navy. An expert in his field, he holds a bachelor's degree in marine transportation technology, seamanship, and navigation from California State University Maritime Academy. In light of his professional achievements, he was nominated for four Emmy Awards for Best Dramatic Series. Additionally, Mr. Swerling won the Propeller Club Award from the California State University Maritime Academy.

While his career has been filled with highlights, Mr. Swerling takes the most pride in producing the show, "The A-Team." Though hard work and dedication brought him far in his career, he wouldn't have fostered such a stellar reputation without the help of his father, a well-known and successful screenwriter who was the co-author of the musical "Guys and Dolls." His mentors, Roy Huggins and William Fry, were wonderful inspirations to him. Looking ahead, Mr. Swerling intends to enjoy his retirement.
