Prior to embarking on her career in health coaching, Ms. Mathison was a franchise owner for Snelling and Snelling, Inc., and a teacher for Tai Chi Dragon Qigong since 2002, which she continues to teach. Additionally, she was a lecturer for community colleges and hospital outreach programs. In 1982, she was honored as Idaho's Business Woman of the Year. She relocated to Seattle, Washington, and assumed a role as a bank officer for Old National Bank in 1983.
