In 2018, Mr. Chraghchian became the youngest planning commissioner in the history of the City of Glendale, California. He served as Commission Chair in 2020. The city's history dates back 100 years, and he draws a strong sense of satisfaction in having had the opportunity to serve in such a capacity. Mr. Chraghchian continues to remain active on the commission today.
A graduate of the University of Southern California, Mr. Chraghchian received a bachelor's degree in business administration and real estate development, cum laude, and a master's degree in urban and regional planning. He also received a Leading with Finance Certificate from Harvard Business School Online and became a licensed real estate agent through the California Department of Real Estate.
Active in his professional community, Mr. Chraghchian is a member of The Symposium, and the Urban Land Institute's Los Angeles housing initiative council. He formerly served as a member and California chapter commission and board representative for the American Planners Association. In light of his accomplishments, Mr. Chraghchian has been honored with a Sales Recognition Award, Emerging Core Award, and a Rising Star Award from the MMCC. He was also selected among hundreds of candidates nationwide for the Young Professional Award, having been named among the 25 Under 35 in the Commercial Observer for debt and equity professionals.
