Beginning his career at 16, Mr. Smola worked for several organizations, including Atlas Software Technologies as a Microsoft technologies specialist, project management, technical guidance, and consulting from 2010 to 2014. He was also a SharePoint architect for Sentinel Technologies, Arrow Gear Company, and Fortune Brands Home and Security. Among other roles, Mr. Smola was affiliated with Buoyant Concepts as a chief architect managing the technological advancement of developed products. Before joining Aerwave, he was a senior application development team lead at Medical Marketing Service Inc.
A recognized expert in the Microsoft ecosystem, Mr. Smola attributes his success to his curiosity and persistence. While serving as a Microsoft stock consultant, he became involved with Fortune Brands, an organization that manages hundreds of brands. During that time, Mr. Smola was tasked with challenging and exciting concepts, while developing several custom code solutions.
Having been introduced to the field by his father, who owned a computer software company, Mr. Smola began learning the complexities of the business quickly. After school, he would go straight to his father's shop, learn from the developers, and eventually became a full-time employee. Looking toward the future, Mr. Smola aims to continue helping the industry evolve and progress.
Mr. Smola earned an Associate of Applied Science in Network Systems Administration from the Computer Systems Institute in 2009. He also received numerous credentials and certifications specializing in Microsoft Enterprise technologies ecosystem. Mr. Smola speaks English, French, and Polish.
