Josephine Castelli Celebrated for Dedication to the Field of Education

    STUART, FL, September 12, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Josephine Castelli has been included in Marquis Who's Who. A seasoned educator with years of expertise to her credit, Mrs. Castelli presently excels as a teacher at William T. Dyer High School, where she also serves as head of the Literacy Department. As part of the Palm Beach County School District, she teaches the AICE English EGP Cambridge Program, a college-level course for high school students, and mentors' new teachers. Over the years, Mrs. Castelli has taught Kindergarten through 12th grade at such institutions as St. John's University, St. Peter's High School, Academy of St. Dorothy's and various other elementary schools in Staten Island.

Throughout her career thus far, Mrs. Castelli has established a parks and recreation program for students, which earned her the City Award from the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation, as well as more than 25 other educational programs connecting local schools and Hospitality House, a nonprofit that provides a wide range of services to those in need, particularly homeless children. An expert in her field, she earned a bachelor's degree in early childhood education with a minor in social work from Wagner College. In recognition of her professional achievements, Mrs. Castelli received the Educational Mayor's Volunteer Youth Service Award, the Teacher of the Year Award from the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce, and the High Impact Teacher Award from the Governor of Florida.

Similarly, she has met many individuals along the way who have inspired her. Looking toward the future, she intends to experience her career's continued growth and success. Ultimately, Mrs. Castelli intends to volunteer her time at elementary schools in their reading program.
