A long tenure with the Dallas Police Department also definitively shaped Mr. Digby's professional profile. He first joined the force as a police officer in 2000, after accumulating critical industry experience in corporate security with Guardsmark Inc. between 1996 and 2000. In 2006, he accepted a promotion to the role of senior corporal and detective of police with the Dallas Police Department, and since 2012, Mr. Digby has remained active in serving the Dallas-area constituents as a police sergeant.
Notably, Mr. Digby holds an array of industry credentials that further solidify his position in this arena, including being designated a licensed private investigator and private security contractor with the State of Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance. In 2012, he earned an executive leadership certificate from the Harvard Kennedy School by completing the 21st-Century Leadership: Chaos, Conflict and Courage course, and Mr. Digby is a 2004 graduate of both the basic and advanced programs offered by the John Reid School of Interviewing and Interrogation.
Mr. Digby boasts outstanding academic accomplishments, including a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice from Tennessee State University. He subsequently earned dual graduate degrees, including a Master of Public Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Master of Science in strategic leadership from Mountain State University. He targeted crime and social policy research during studies abroad in Mexico and Spain in 2003 and 2004, respectively, and Mr. Digby took classes in organizational leadership toward a terminal degree at Grand Canyon University. Finally, the Institute for Law Enforcement Administration granted him an executive leadership diploma in 2022, and broad industry certifications bolster Mr. Digby's local and regional standing and include the Basic, Intermediate, Advanced and Master Peace Officer Proficiency Certificates from the state of Texas.
Mr. Digby is gratified to have contributed to an ongoing conversation among experts in his field with the 2012 publication titled "The Impact the Caruth Police Institute Has on Leadership in the Dallas Police Department," a qualitative research analysis report. He also published "Why You Need to be the Man" with Xlibris Publication in 2010.
Additionally, he humbly engaged with 3,000 attendees as the invited keynote commencement speaker for the 50th anniversary of Thornwood High School in South Holland, Illinois, his alma mater.

His spouse Jacqueline and three children Martez, Therrone, and Jasmin have also been his biggest cheerleaders. He has been recognized for his contributions with numerous awards, including being named President of the Year by the employees of Digby's Protection Group in 2022 and earning over 35 commendations from internal and external sources. Moreover, he was honored when the Dallas Police Department recognized him for over 20 years of dedicated service. Looking toward the future, he aims to dispatch additional scholarship monies to promote four-year undergraduate study among the students from his neighborhood, and by extension, Mr. Digby will seek pathways to aid young entrepreneurs in the pursuit of their own business aspirations.
