Prior to launching Core Clarity Consulting, Ms. Sharma served as chair of the Forbes Technology Council for which she was selected as a result of her position as the founder and chief executive officer of Konversai, a global technology live video connection and conversation platform she led for seven years in California and New York. Prior to her entry into technology entrepreneurship, Ms. Sharma was head of the PCLL Program and Admissions at the City University of Hong Kong for seven years; during her tenure she sat on multiple boards and advisory committees concerning local, regional, and global policy and legal education. In her early career, Ms. Sharma served as a corporate lawyer with Shearman & Sterling LLP and Kirkland & Ellis LLP, two of the world's most preeminent and market-leading law firms based in New York.
In addition to her professional contributions, Ms. Sharma dedicates herself to improving the communities in which she has lived and worked. In June 2023, Ms. Sharma was appointed to the Board of EnActe Arts, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, talent incubator, and a platform for engaging diverse populations in conversations on social issues to create greater awareness and tolerance from a South Asian perspective. She additionally contributes her time, talents and finances to non profit organizations helping children, women who have experienced domestic violence; animals; and the arts.
Ms. Sharma earned a Masters of Laws (L.L.M.) from Columbia Law School where she was Human Rights Scholar; Master of Laws (B.C.L.) from Oxford University where she was Radhakrishnan British Chevening Scholar; and Bachelor of Laws (L.L.B.) from University of Delhi – Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law. In April 2023 Sushma earned a Corporate Governance: Maximize Your Effectiveness in the Boardroom Certificate from University of Pennsylvania, The Wharton School, Aresty Institute of Executive Education.
While her career has been filled with highlights, Ms. Sharma takes the most pride in utilizing her experience from serving as an associate of two notable law firms to being a college professor and establishing a successful tech company, to now lead Core Clarity Consulting.
