Leading a long and successful career in information technology, Mr. Brody launched InfoNet of Things LLC in 2017 as his firm's founder and chief executive officer. Based in Allen, Texas, his Internet of Things (IoT) solutions organization concentrates on building strategies and solutions for an unmatched information network that fully supports the IoT ecosystem. Managed by expert consultants, they provide various design, implementation, resolutions, and infrastructure services.
Mr. Brody's longevity in the industry included several high-level positions, including as the vice president of wireless networks at BNR/Nortel and subsequently as the vice president and general manager of wireless network solutions where he managed a series of entrepreneurial start-ups. During his tenure, he was instrumental in leading the wireless revolution. Following his career as a corporate executive, in 1999, Mr. Brody became an entrepreneur and founded a VC-backed company called GlobeRanger and served as its CEO. GlobeRanger became a leading player in the IoT industry and was acquired by Fujitsu in 2014. Mr. Brody was also an investor and IoT strategic advisor at iLumi Solutions Inc. During an earlier stage of his career, Mr. Brody was affiliated with Siemens Communications and Nortel in management positions in, Ottawa Canada, South Florida and Dallas-Fort Worth between 1973 and 1998.
Adding to his professional success, Mr. Brody served in numerous board positions, including as the board chair of MobME Wireless Solutions Ltd. from 2008 to 2015. He envisions continued success in the industry assisting entrepreneurs and companies to become successful.
Deeply invested in his community, Mr. Brody has served as the chair of TiE Dallas Angels since 2021 and as the president and director of the IISc Foundation since 2022. He is the former founder and chairperson of the Advanced Wireless Research Consortium of North Texas, having served in his role from 2017 to 2021. Moreover, Mr. Brody was a board member for TeXchange DFW between 2016 and 2018 and Tech Titans from 2000 to 2016.
Mr. Brody graduated from the University of Kerala in 1965 with a Bachelor of Science in physics. He subsequently studied at the Indian Institute of Science, through which he garnered a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering in 1968, and the University of New Brunswick with a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering in 1971 and a Master of Science in computer science in 1973.
Recognized for his leadership in technology by the Dallas Asian Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Brody was also a Tech Titans finalist. He attributes his integrity and his ability to create high-performance teams to much of his professional success.
