Following this time, he was a manager for a public accounting firm in Fort Lauderdale, Florida for seven years. Over the course of his career, he has also published numerous articles in his industry.
Before embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Gupta earned a bachelor's degree in commerce in 1985 from the University of Rajasthan in India and a bachelor's degree in accounting and finance in 1988 from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India where only 2-3% of students passed the CA exam at that time. Following these achievements, he was admitted as an associate member to The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in 1989. After immigrating to the United States in 1999, he gained a master's degree in taxation from Nova Southeastern University, Florida in 2006 where he focused mainly on international taxation. Well-qualified in his field, he is a certified public accountant with the Florida State Board of Accounting.
Mr. Gupta enjoys giving his extra time to community work and he also serves on the boards of multiple non-profit organizations in South Florida. He is a member of the International Taxation and Health Care Committee of the Florida Institute of the Certified Public Accountants (FICPA) and Founding Chairman of the Florida Chapter of the Institute Chartered Accounts of India (ICAI).
