Before taking ownership of Chavez Pools Service and Repairs, Ms. Karwash began her career as an event planner and wine hostess with WineStyles in 2007 through 2011 and became a receptionist for Louis Shanks of Texas in 2011. In 2013, she served as an administrative receptionist for the Cavender Auto Group until taking a role as a new car delivery specialist for Mitsubishi Motors in 2015. During this time, she also was a business and event marketing advisor for JK Marketing from 2011 until 2017 and served as a marketing director for the Gallery of Champions from 2012 until 2020.
Prior to embarking on her professional journey, Ms. Karwash earned an associate's degree in business administration and management from St. Philip's College. Following this achievement, she attained a Bachelor of Science from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Eminently qualified in her field, she became certified in general lines agent property and casualty by the Texas Department of Insurance and is a notary public in the State of Texas. She also holds certification from the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission, and has been registered as a Home Improvement Contractor since 2018.
Looking to the future, Ms. Karwash intends to grow her business, and will be applying to become a member of the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the Better Business Bureau. Having mastered the art of running a company, she skillfully navigates the complexities of her trade, demonstrating her capability to manage the business while fostering trust and confidence in her ability to sustain and flourish the enterprise. Accounting for her success, she credits the support she receives from her family as well as her dedicated employees, mentors and friends.
