His portfolio of work has been included on permanent displays in New York City public libraries, in public collections at Columbia University, and in several international art museums. Mr. Lam's works have also recently been on display at the Art Inside the Art AD Art Show, a juried art exhibition at the World Trade Center in New York City in 2021, at the Save the Planet International Artists Exhibition in Taiwan in 2021, and in a show at the La Pigna Gallery in Rome, Italy, in 2021. Additionally, Mr. Lam has become a published writer who has contributed to Artforum, an international monthly magazine that specializes in contemporary art, in 2015, Fine Art Connoisseur, a South Florida-based magazine, in 2021, and American Art Collector, a monthly magazine in Scottsdale, Arizona, in 2022.
Having been involved with numerous nonprofit organizations, Mr. Lam has been active with the AEIOU Foundation, which serves children with autism, and the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (now United Nations Children's Fund).
Mr. Lam is active in his professional community as a member of the National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society, the New York City Artists Corps, and serves as the chair of the International Professional Art Association.
In light of his accomplishments, Mr. Lam won the ICOM-ASPAC Special Achievement Award. He also received an Arsenoy International Contemporary Art Forum award and a 2020 World Peace Prize from the International Culture and Arts Federation, among other international prizes.
