Initially becoming affiliated with Jack Henry & Associates Inc. in 2015 as an implementation coordinator, Mr. Washington became an installation manager from 2016 to 2020. He also served as a community outreach officer for Mosaic of People between 2020 and 2022.
Based in Monett, Missouri, Jack Henry provides core software solutions to banks and credit unions and has approximately 300 products. The organization offers core applications and has many complementary products for banks, credit unions, and other financial technology companies.
Mr. Washington found former success as an implementation project lead at Eci Software Solutions from 2013 to 2015, as a technical support specialist and development and support specialist at Intuit between 2011 and 2013, and as a conversion and implementations analyst and workflow administrator at FIS (formerly Metavante). Looking toward future career opportunities, Mr. Washington aims to continue advancing in his leadership roles and publish his first book. He also plans to continue his education.
Mr. Washington has garnered recognition for his service to the community with various professional groups, including as a members' advisory committee member for the Financial Health Network and as a local advisory council member for ForbesBLK in Dallas since 2023. His passion for community service stems from his father, who worked in the nonprofit sector for a local community center.
Highly educated, Mr. Washington achieved a Bachelor of Arts in business management from Ottawa University. He subsequently received a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from Marquette University and a Master of Business Administration from Cardinal Stritch University. Adding to his expertise, Mr. Washington completed the Associates in Commercial Real Estate Program, receiving certification through Marquette University. Moreover, he received certification in diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging through the Kapor Center and garnered designation as a continuous process improvement practitioner through Jack Henry & Associates Inc.
Mr. Washington is noted for his continued contributions as a member of several professional organizations, such as the Blacks in Technology Foundation, and as a member and case competition judge on behalf of the Dallas-Fort Worth chapter of the National Black MBA Association.
In light of his success, Mr. Washington received an Outstanding Leadership Award at the 2023 Internet 2.0 Conference. He previously garnered recognition among the Most Inspiring Stories in Dallas in Voyage Dallas in 2019 and was named as the MBA of the Year by the National Black MBA Association's Milwaukee chapter in 2009. Mr. Washington attributes his success to the mentorship he has received throughout his career and his ability to build strong networks outside his ethnicity.
