In addition, Mr. Philantrope is the owner of a broad portfolio of business ventures, beginning with Fast Tax RX & Accounting Services, a tax preparation company opened in 2000. Since 2005, he has additionally served as the owner and director of the Academy of DUI & Defensive Driving; a DUI, Defensive Driving and Driver's Education Instructor. In 2019 he had launched Trinity Expert Carrier & Logistics, Inc., a trucking company. He is proud to be an example for other Haitian-owned businesses in Georgia, and is active in the Haitian diaspora community, holding leadership roles in the Haitian Alliance Group, Haitians Living in Atlanta, the Georgia Haitian-American Chamber of Commerce, and the Haitian Community Center of Gwinnett. In recognition of his innovation and commitment to the community, Mr. Philantrope received the 2022 "Five Continents 25th Annual Academy Awards" Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Chokopam, and was presented with a "2023 Bridge Award" from the Georgia Haitian Chamber of Commerce. In addition, Mr. Philantrope has received several recognitions for his collaboration and support to other community organizations. In the coming years, Mr. Philantrope looks forward to continuing to develop Chokopam with greater focus on working with farmers and NGO's to advance regenerative cacao production using agroecology. Agroecology is a wholistic indigenous-based food system approach to agriculture that emphasizes the interconnectedness between people, plants, animals, and earth. It is concerned with increasing access to healthy traditional foods; improving biodiversity; restoring ecosystem harmony; building climate resilience; and advancing economic, political, and social equity and inclusion.
