Dr. Rory Palmieri has accrued several decades of experience as a writer and translator. Previously, he served as a translator and reporter for the U.S. Department of Defense from 1985 to 1999, during which time he learned seven new languages, all but two on his own, and worked a total of nine languages altogether. He holds government certifications in French, German, Modern Greek, Bulgarian and Serbo-Croatian. To date, he has learned 17 languages. While serving in the Defense Department, Dr. Palmieri provided information to other federal government departments, the White House and various intelligence agencies.
