Leveraging more than two decades of excellence in spreading positivity in her community, Ms. Bright has earned distinction as the founder of Operation Love. Since establishing the non-profit during the COVID-19 pandemic, she has focused her efforts on delivering meals to homebound seniors. She and her team visit a local homeless shelter to provide meals and interact with the residents each month, funded solely by community donations and volunteer efforts.
Prior to establishing her non-profit, Ms. Bright taught and ran a licensed daycare for 13 years and was the director for Malcolm Eaton Enterprise Daycare. She has also recently started working as an advocate for her local radio station, writing and recording smaller segments they air hourly. To prepare for her career, she earned an associate's degree in early childhood education from Highland Community College in 2001.
Among her professional accomplishments, Ms. Bright was honored with a Gold Certificate from Damon Instructional System Division and received a scholarship from Discovery Spotlight. Within the coming years, she intends to collaborate with more business owners and community leaders, allowing for more volunteers to join their cause and serve more individuals in need.
