During his distinguished tenure, Mr. Klein had the opportunity to argue before the U.S. Court of Appeals, which he found both interesting and enjoyable. He also had the chance to meet many influential individuals and mentors, including Supreme Court Justice Louis Brandeis.
Highly regarded for his integrity and transparency, Mr. Klein was a compassionate attorney who sought to educate his clients as much as possible to make sure they were fully aware of their circumstances. Passionate about problem-solving, he strived to always focus on the issues at hand and rely on them to defend or prosecute to the fullest extent of the law. Aside from his full-time career endeavors, Mr. Klein notably participated in some pro bono work and was involved in editorial work in the field. Before establishing his law firm in 1975, he spent two years as an associate attorney for another attorney's office.
Throughout high school, Mr. Klein was active on the debate team and won numerous tournaments. Consequently, he felt very comfortable in his environment and ultimately chose to study law in college. Despite his mother's wishes of him to pursue medicine, he felt he could make a bigger impact on others as an attorney. Mr. Klein graduated from the University of Florida with an Associate of Applied Sciences, subsequently received a bachelor's degree in political science from Florida State University, a master's degree in American history and economics from The College of New Jersey, and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Rutgers University, where he was honored with appointment to the Rutgers Law Review and made an Associate Editor. Mr. Klein has been admitted to practice by the Florida Bar Association.
Mr. Klein received notoriety for his distinguished tenure in the field, which spanned more than 50 years.
