Before establishing Bespoke Engineering, Mr. Lam honed his management expertise with NV5 and Leidos. During the early stages of his career, he also gained valuable industry knowledge as a transmission line engineer with Henkels & McCoy, Inc. and as a structural associate with Sargent & Lundy, where he began in 2008 after earning a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Pennsylvania State University. Driven to expand upon his professional knowledge, Mr. Lam subsequently became a professional engineer in the State of Texas and received a minority-business certification through the National Minority Supplier Development Council.
In order to remain abreast of changes in the field, Mr. Lam aligns himself with the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Board of Professional Engineers in Texas and California. While his career has been filled with standout moments, he takes the most pride in establishing his own company. Although hard work has brought him far in his career, he credits his success to his tenacity and persistence. Looking ahead, Mr. Lam intends to achieve financial independence so that he can ensure his children's future and help underserved communities of developing countries.
