An accomplished electrical engineer with years of expertise in designing volatile and non-volatile memory used in analog, digital, and mixed-signal products, Mr. Dang presently excels as a design engineer with Texas Instruments. Since 1988, he has specialized in developing memory for automotive safety devices and phones. Similarly, he has lent his vast breadth of knowledge to several industry publications, including "High Performance, Low Leakage Memory Design." Due to his considerable industry experience, Mr. Dang has also parlayed his knowledge to others as a teaching assistant at Oklahoma State University.
Before embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Dang earned an undergraduate degree. Subsequently, he expanded his educational horizons by earning a master's degree in electrical and computer engineering from Oklahoma State University. Driven to remain abreast of ongoing industry changes, he aligns himself with the National Society of Professional Engineers. Outside of his work, Mr. Dang has also dedicated himself to those less fortunate by sponsoring scholarships for Vietnamese children.
After receiving the highest score in a three-hour exam, Mr. Dang was recognized with a scholarship by Rockwell International. Likewise, he has obtained a number of patents for RTA, or Retention 'Til Access, memory devices, systems for enterprise-branded application frameworks for mobile environments, and efficient memory sense architecture. While his career has been filled with standout moments, including those mentioned previously, Mr. Dang is most proud of creating a novel device that has since been broadly utilized in the automotive industry due to its ability to ensure automotive safety protocols.
The cornerstone of Mr. Dang's success lies in his family's support, particularly his parents, who taught him the value of hard work, perseverance, and determination. Although he has experienced many career highlights, he is proud of his wife and his children, Michael, his eldest son, is a dentist, and his youngest son, Thomas, is a Fulbright Scholar with dreams of pursuing a medical career. Looking toward the future, Mr. Dang intends to further expand the memory product market on behalf of Texas Instruments.
