During the early stages of his career, Mr. Ahmadi honed his industry expertise as the Geotechnical Engineering Department Shareholder and Senior Geotechnical Lab Manager of Geo Search, Field Engineer for Pamir Geotechnical Services Company (PGS), a Geotechnical Consultant for Omran Mining & Geo-Technic Company (OGC), and as a job coach with the Sacramento Employment and Training Agency. Likewise, he established his considerable skill set through various roles with RMA Group, Inc., Apple, Kateb University, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. An expert in his field, Mr. Ahmadi holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology and Geosciences from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, where he completed a Master of Science in Engineering Geology in 2009. Over the years, he received ten Laboratory Manager and Engineering Geologist/Geotechnical Engineer Certifications through the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).
In conjunction with his work, Mr. Ahmadi supports the Afghan members of his community, particularly during celebratory occasions. Due to his vast knowledge, he has contributed to more than 20 geotechnical engineering papers, six of which he wrote in pursuit of his master's degree. For his professional accomplishments, he won the Schnabel Engineering Award for Work on the US Embassy Project; Lakeshore Group Award for Exemplary Efforts, Defense University Building Project; Tunnel Project Award, The Louis Berger Group Inc. (LBG); Tetra Tech Award for Dam Project; USAID/IRC Highway Project Award; Runway/Airfield Award, AECOM New Zealand; Government Buildings Project Award; ITSI Award for "Outstanding Contributions to the U.S. Army base project at USACE Camp Phoenix"; GIZ Award "for Contributions to the Building Projects"; and an Award "for Efforts on the Bridge and Road Project," Aachen University.
While his career has been filled with highlights, Mr. Ahmadi takes the most pride in co-founding his own company, Geo Search, contributing to Afghanistan-based projects through the United States Army, and playing a vital role in executing a large tunnel project that extended an impressive 90 kilometers, 15 dams and more than 2000 kilometers of road and highway projects. The cornerstone of his success lies in the support of his family and the opportunities he has been provided over the years. Looking ahead, Mr. Ahmadi intends to secure a civil engineering license and seek an opportunity to practice civil engineering while continuing his work in the geological sector.
