Prior to his current role, Mr. Thibaudeau began his career as a film editor with Creation Montage in 1994 and then was a freelance editor from 1994 until he created his company YTM in 2002. To prepare for his creative career, he earned a Diploma of College Studies from College Jean de Brébeuf in Canada in 1993.
Recently, he scouted the team for, financed, and produced a TV pilot called "The Bar."
Throughout his stellar career, Mr. Thibaudeau has won numerous awards for film editing and production. He is a seven-time Canadian screen award nominee, a five-time Canadian cinema editor nominee, and has won four major awards in Quebec in both feature films and TV drama. His films over the years have gathered seven Golden Reel Awards in both Quebec and Canada.
Looking to the future, Mr. Thibaudeau intends to transition his work from editing to producing. He aims to produce high-quality feature films in both live and animation as well as TV series, and build up a successful production company known worldwide. Having worked on over 75 feature films and over 300 hours of TV dramas and comedies thus far, he has achieved a great deal of success over the years, with more to come.
