Before establishing his company, Mr. Kennedy served as an engineer for EIDupont from 1967 until 1980 and was the vice president of marketing for EMAX Inc. in 1981. Following this time, he was the product group manager and chief engineer for EIL Instruments in 1981 until taking a role as the branch chief for DISA in 1987. He continued his career as a senior project manager for Irista Inc. in 2000 and was the chief information officer for Teachers School Supply in 2001.
Mr. Kennedy subsequently was a faculty member for Penn State University in 2010 and captain of the Proud Mary and SeaTow for Raystown Resort in 2011. He then served as a project manager for new business development for Canary Labs in 2013 and became a ship rider SMCP for Strike Group LLC in 2015. While developing his professional journey, Mr. Kennedy earned a master's degree in national security decision-making and strategic studies from the United States Naval War College in 1993.
Looking to the future, Mr. Kennedy intends to market a new product he has conceptualized for a street-legal electric mobility scooter. He has developed a comprehensive business and received an offer of funding. However, they remain undecided on whether to accept the financial resources or pursue organic growth. He is also writing a book, "Til Death Do Us Part," based on his observation that many spouses are not equipped to deal with the loss of their partner and experience a great deal of anxiety about it. As part of this endeavor, he is collaborating with a member of his church who recently lost her spouse and they are compiling a list of things to do and strategies on how to deal with the loss.
