Prior to his current role, Mr. Baeten began his career as a new product development engineer with Inter-Med/Vista Dental Products in 2008 and was promoted to Engineering Manager for Innovation and Advanced Technology in 2011. He was further promoted to the Director of Engineering and Research & Development in 2014. He continued his career as the Director of Business Process Optimization for Young Innovations, Inc. in 2021.

He was a runner up for Commercial Innovation of the Year at the 2016 World Molecular Imaging Congress and received the Best of Class Technology Award from the Cellerant Consulting Group in 2019 (PhasorTM), 2020 (PinkWaveTM), 2022 (Re-GenTM) and 2023 (Re-GenTM).
Before embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Baeten earned a Bachelor of Science in biomedical engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering in 2007. Following this achievement, he attained a Master of Science in biomedical and medical engineering from the Technical University of Munich in Germany in 2009 and a master's degree in engineering management from Duke University in 2013. Well-qualified in his field, he is certified in biomedical optics by Harvard-MIT Health Sciences and Technology and in bioengineering with the University of California, San Diego.
Within the coming years, Mr. Baeten intends to continue to rise in the industry, becoming a senior executive in the medical device, diagnostic or pharma space.
