Ms. Sullivan also aims to make impactful changes in society with the help of private, public, and nonprofit entities and advises people how to invest in the social impact space to maximize societal impact.

Ms. Sullivan is a former tenured employee of Caterpillar Inc., an American Fortune 100 company, who ultimately rose to the role of president of the Caterpillar Foundation and Director of Corporate Social Innovation between 2011 and 2018. During her thirty-year career, she gained valuable expertise in social innovation, leadership, cross-functional collaborations, parts authorizations, product support, new product introduction, and dealer and customer support. Ms. Sullivan also notably served as the first female president of the Caterpillar Foundation, the company's philanthropic arm, during that time.

As an internationally recognized business strategist, social impact expert, and renowned public speaker, Ms. Sullivan had the opportunity to speak at the World Union of Catholic Women Organizations within the Vatican in 2023, garnered recognition as the first non-engineer to serve as a keynote speaker before the Society of Women Engineers, and was a TED speaker. She has also become a prominent public speaker on such topics as social impact, diversity, equity and inclusion, motivation, inspiration, and faith. Among other accomplishments, Ms. Sullivan served as a U.S. delegate to the U.N. Commission on the Status of Women. She also became a published author in 2020 with the release of her book, "Looking Up: How a Different Perspective Turns Obstacles into Advantages" via HarperCollins Leadership.

Heavily engaged in civic initiatives, Ms. Sullivan is a member of ONE.org's Global Leadership Council where she previously served as Board of Director's member. ONE.org is a campaigning and advocacy group of more than nine million people worldwide taking action to end extreme poverty and preventable disease, particularly in Africa. Previously, she had been active with the Local Initiatives Support Corporation, Community Workshop and Training Center Inc., the Little People of America, and her local Boys and Girls Club.

Highly educated, Ms. Sullivan graduated from Bradley University with an undergraduate degree in business administration and management in 1987 and a Master of Business Administration in 1989. She also received certification as a 6 Sigma Black Belt and Master Black Belt.

In light of her accomplishments, Ms. Sullivan was recognized as one of the 50 Most Powerful Women in Philanthropy by Inside Philanthropy, was included in the Central Illinois 40 Under 40 Leaders list, and received Bradley University's most coveted honor, its Centurion Medal.

She is most proud of the fact that 50 million people have been impacted through the Caterpillar Foundation investments and their NGO partners during her tenure.
