During the early stages of his career, Mr. Elkins gained valuable expertise in project management, land surveying, and more through various roles with Precision Measurements, Inc., Christopher Consultants, Ltd, and McKee & Associates. Likewise, he started as a survey field crew chief for Ramesh C. Batta Associates, KLS Consultants, Inc., and The Shenk Corporation.
An expert in his field, Mr. Elkins completed land surveying and civil engineering coursework at Anne Arundel Community College and Catonsville Community College. Driven to remain abreast of changes in the field, he aligns himself with the Maryland Society of Surveyors, through which he mentors others in the young surveyors program. While his career has been filled with highlights, he takes the most pride in remaining loyal and continuously developing his skills. In the coming years, Mr. Elkins intends to build VanMar's reputation within the surveying industry.
