Having accrued over three decades of experience, Barbara Bromley is a proven expert in the field of education. Specializing in problem and project based learning at an elementary teaching level, she has served as a fifth- and sixth-grade teacher for Hazelwood Elementary School in Edmonds, Washington. She is also the head of the school's STEM Club, which encourages socio-emotional learning, as well. Prior to her current appointment, she operated as a physics and flight instructor for Ridgetop Middle School in Silverdale, Washington, between 2016 and 2017. Ms. Bromley originally began her career in 1992, working as a sixth grade teacher for Pinckneyville Middle School in Norcross, Georgia, until 2000.
