MIDWEST CITY, OK, January 11, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Le Roy Porter with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Mr. Porter celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Porter spent over 35 years in education in the Oklahoma public school system, beginning in 1966 as a teacher in Bixby, a suburb of Tulsa. He subsequently spent over a decade as a teacher and coach for Midwest City-Del City Public Schools in the Oklahoma City metropolitan area from 1967 to 1979 before reaching the pinnacle of his career as an assistant principal for a local junior high school from 1979 to 2001.
