With more than two decades of excellence in finance and accounting, Mr. Volini has earned distinction as a certified public accountant and consultant with his own firm, Jason R. Volini CPA, PC. Since 2010, he has focused his efforts on following a proactive approach in practice by creating a tax plan each year and ensuring his clients are on track with their needs, especially with regards to federal taxation. Before establishing his company, Mr. Volini served honorably in the United States Army from 1997 until 2000. In recognition of his dedicated service, he was honored with an Army Physical Training Test Award for scoring 292 in training out of 300 outside of special forces, an Army Achievement Medal and an Achievement Award from the National Training Center in 1999.
Following his military service, Mr. Volini worked as an accountant for Eve Loren Munsky, CPA in 2002 and was a certified public accountant for RS Abrams and Co, LLP. Following this time, he worked at Kweit, Mantell and DeLucia, LLP in 2008 and Sabel and Oplinger, CPA PC in 2009. He also was an instructor for the Sanford-Brown Institute in 2010 and lent his expertise as an alternate board member for the Patchogue Community Development Agency from 2013 until 2016.
To prepare for his career, Mr. Volini earned an associate's degree in accounting from Suffolk County Community College in 2003. Following this achievement, he attained a bachelor's degree in the same field of study from St. Joseph's University in 2005 and a Master of Science in taxation from Long Island University in 2017.
Looking to the future, Mr. Volini intends to transition to a role as an instructor or educator at a junior college or St. Joseph's University, enabling him to inspire the younger generation of accounting professionals.
