His academic journey began at the University of Yaoundé I, Cameroon, where he received a doctorate in organic chemistry in 2007, Master of Education in chemistry in 2004, a Master of Science in organic chemistry in 2003, and a bachelor's degree in chemistry in 2001. The loss of his daughter shortly after their move to the United States led Dr. Siagat to pivot from pharmaceutical research to clinical work, with an emphasis on preventing respiratory conditions.
He is the founder of a non-profit organization called Global Community Health Thriving (www.gocohealth.org/) that provide various educational activities, health fairs, and community reach outs to underserved and underrepresented populations worldwide.
