In the year 2019, she ventured into the wellness industry by inaugurating a new spa business, only to be compelled to cease its operations in the face of the challenges posed by COVID-19. Likewise, she honed considerable knowledge in the real estate industry as a New Build Sales Consultant. She is the author of the screenplay "Under My Skin," as well as the insightful book titled "LEADERSHIP: A Woman's Guide to Winning Elections, Shaping the Future, and Transforming Passion into Political Power." Beyond her various endeavors, Ms. Wilson also graces the airwaves as the host of the "LeadHERship" podcast.
An expert in her field, Ms. Wilson completed coursework in marketing, communications, and psychology at Otterbein and Ohio Dominican Universities. In conjunction with her work and educational pursuits, she has dedicated herself to her community as President of the Delaware Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association, board member for the Unity Community Center, League of Women Voters, NAACP, Eagles, American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, End CAN, Kiwanis, and efforts to prevent child abuse. Similarly, she helped organize a toy drive for more than 250 children.
In light of her professional accomplishments, Ms. Wilson was named The Disruptor by Authority Magazine and one of the Top 10 Influential Women to Watch by The New York Journal in 2023. While her career has been filled with highlights, including the ones above, she takes the most pride in winning her 2022 primary election against Jeff Sites with just $2,500 in campaign funds. Looking ahead, Ms. Wilson aims to become a Congresswoman, an attorney, get married, and eventually campaign to become President of the United States.
