During an earlier stage of his career, Mr. Riccio spent several years developing his own companies, including;

Sound Advice Consultants Inc. a multi-state exclusive dealership and affiliate of Siemens Medical Solutions USA, for the eastern half of the United States, where he served as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board. Sound Advice Consultants became the largest dealership for Siemens Ultrasound products in the nation.

Apex Research, Inc. performed clinical research trials for several pharmaceutical corporations, contract research organizations (CRO's), and medical equipment manufacturers, throughout the country, he served as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board, before he merged Apex Research with a large clinical research company in the Southwestern United States.

Mr. Riccio was a founding partner and Senior Vice President of Business Development & Director of Medical Education & Research for Omnia, Inc., guiding the formation of a national ob/gyn physician network consisting of over 3000 physicians.

Omnia created and managed several thirty (30) to forty (40) physician ob/gyn integrated medical practices that were formed from individual physician groups.

Omnia's educational division, created and held large CME educational conferences and seminars on women's health related issues for physicians, nurse practitioners and women's healthcare providers.

Mr. Riccio was a founding partner in Vanguard Healthcare Group. Vanguard owned and operated over fifty five (55) ob/gyn physician practices (consisting of over 130 ob/gyn Physicians, 100 nurse practitioners and nurse midwives) in the Philadelphia/ NJ area. Vanguard performed over 65% of all deliveries in Philadelphia County, Pa, and South New Jersey.

Vanguard was sold to MedPartners / Caremark, Inc., a publicly traded company. He and his partners at Caremark then grew the company, creating several new lines of business including its Pharmaceutical Benefits Management Division (PBM), and sold the entire entity to CVS Health Corporation.

Execulease Corporation, a private finance company, serving as Executive Vice President, Business Development. He was part of the senior management team that grew the company to one of the nation's largest privately owned medical finance corporations. The company was sold to Anthem Financial Corp., a division of Anthem Insurance Companies, Inc. a publicly traded company that runs Blue Cross / Blue Shield of New York.

Mr. Riccio formed a "Consortium" consisting of several major diagnostic medical ultrasound equipment manufacturers, including, Philips Medical Systems, Siemens Medical Solutions, General Electric Healthcare, Hewlett-Packard, Diasonics, Picker Medical Systems, Interspec Corp., and Advanced Technology Laboratories, where he lobbied the United States Health Care Finance Administration (HCFA) which runs the Medicare Program, to approve a CPT code and reimbursement for color diagnostic ultrasound. Due to these lobbying efforts color ultrasound was approved for reimbursement as a diagnostic test, and was awarded the CPT code of 93325.

He was a founding partner in American Medical Imaging Corp., (AMIC), where he served as Executive Vice President. He spearheaded two private placement offerings of stock, which raised several million dollars from private investors for the company. He also was an active participant in raising millions of dollars in funding from venture capital groups.

Mr. Riccio was responsible for the creation of over thirty (30) diagnostic medical imaging centers in 8 states, with physicians and hospitals as partners, as well as a very large multi-state mobile ultrasound business. AMIC's active board of directors included: Lyman C. Hamilton, Chief Executive Officer, International Telephone and Telegraph Corp (ITT), Patrick J Toomy, future United States Senator, Steven I Gross, CPA founding partner, Meridian / Corestates Bank, Oksana Baltarowich, MD Professor of Radiology, Thomas Jefferson University.

Additionally, he served in key positions with several large corporations including:

Executive Vice President of Business Development, for Physicians World Communications Group (PWCG) and its subsidiary Professional Postgraduate Services (PPS). PWCG is one of the world's largest medical education and communications companies.

And, Philips Medical Systems, a division of Philips Electronics as corporate sales trainer, regional manager, product manager, and finally, associate marketing director for the corporation. Mr. Riccio was a team leader of the Research Team headed by Ralph Ranalli, PHD that invented Frequency Modulation (FM) Ultrasound / Compressed High Intensity Radar Pulse. Frequency Modulation Ultrasound has recently been picked up by several leading Sonar Manufacturers in the Fishing Industry, slightly modified, and rebranded as "CHIRP," for their high-end Fish Finders and Chart Plotter Units.

Mr. Riccio started his medical career as supervisor of the ob/gyn ultrasound department and assoc. director of ultrasound education, at St. Barnabas Health Care System in Livingston NJ., an affiliate of The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, as well as The Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York.

Mr. Riccio instructed and trained resident ob/gyn physicians who were in the residence program under James Breen, MD (President of American College of OB/GYN (ACOG)). Later, he created a curriculum entitled "Basic Business Management for Physicians", that he taught to resident physicians at St. Barnabas Health Care Systems and at Thomas Jefferson University's Sidney Kimmel Medical College.

Mr. Riccio was inspired by several family members who worked in the medical field, including his mother Jean Riccio, and uncle, Francisco J. Miranda, MD who garnered success in nursing and medicine, respectively.

When asked what is the secret to success, his response was "you can accomplish anything as long as you work hard and smart, a lot of people work hard and a lot of people work smart but to be truly successful, you must do both."

In his spare time Mr. Riccio enjoys fishing, boating, woodworking, building & fixing things, singing with a band as well as karaoke & cooking. He especially enjoys anonymously helping people, and spending time with his children Nicole, Jamie, Jerry, and Antonio as well as his grandchildren Luca and Jeanette.

Looking ahead, Mr. Riccio aims to continue consulting for select companies and individuals.

Besides his full-time commitments, Mr. Riccio has been actively engaged in community initiatives as the treasurer for the Florida Fishery Foundation, and as a CPR Instructor with The American Red Cross. He is also a 3rd Degree Master Mason (F&AM) who has raised several million dollars for The Shriners Hospital for Children.

A graduate of Rutgers University in New Jersey, Mr. Riccio obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration. He also holds certifications in cardiopulmonary resuscitation & first aid with the American Red Cross, an ARDMS with The American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
