VERO BEACH, FL, February 26, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Brian Bennett has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Backed by years of expertise in education, Dr. Bennett teaches art history, communications, world and U.S. history, humanities, music, philosophy, science, and sociology as a faculty member at National University. Over the years, he has gained valuable expertise in similar positions with such institutions as Fresno Pacific College, Fresno City College, and California State University, Fresno. In conjunction with his work, Dr. Bennett contributes to his community as a volunteer substitute teacher for Morningside Academy.

An expert in his field, Dr. Bennett studied history, music, psychology, and sociology at the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1976. Subsequently, he expanded his professional knowledge by earning a PhD in music performance from Schola Cantorum Conservatoire de Musique de Paris in 1978 and a PhD in education from the University of Southern California's Rossier School of Education. Driven to remain abreast of changes in the field, Dr. Bennett aligns himself with the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity.

In light of his outstanding achievements, Dr. Bennett received the Eagle Award from the Boy Scouts of America in 1969. While his career has been filled with highlights, including the ones listed above, he takes the most pride in completing his doctoral degree, studying at a music conservatory in Paris, and becoming one of 15 educators written up in a college English textbook. The cornerstone of his success lies in the expectations set by his parents. His father was a concert pianist and studied at Julliard and the University of Southern California before completing his doctorate of musical arts at Stanford University. Similarly, his mother, a social worker at Columbia, has inspired him throughout his career. In the coming years, Dr. Bennett intends to positively influence high school children at Morningside Academy and celebrate his wife and children. His wife, Suzanne, is a retired nurse practitioner, while his sons, Michael and Matthew have both obtained or are pursuing doctoral degrees in their respective fields.
