Mr. Reeves has been involved in education and administration for more than two decades for various Texas school districts. In 2020, he was acquired by New Braunfels Christian Academy in New Braunfels, Texas, as the head of the school. Responsible for upholding the mission and vision of the institution, he is actively engaged in managing three different campuses for students in grades pre-kindergarten through 12, encompassing over 700 students. Mr. Reeves also empowers the administrative team to support and nurture teachers and campus leaders while liaising between the school board and the administrative team.
Apart from his primary career objectives, Mr. Reeves is overseeing a significant expansion that is presently underway, including a new academic building and athletic complex. Through the support of generous donations of over $10 million over the past 24 months, the academy has surpassed over 50% of its goal required to complete the project.
Before joining New Braunfels Christian Academy, Mr. Reeves was the school principal at Brazos Christian School in Bryan, Texas, from 2012 to 2018 and subsequently spent two years as the athletic director until 2020. He also garnered success as the assistant principal at College Station Independent School District in College Station, Texas, between 2011 and 2012, Bryan Independent School District in Bryan, Texas, from 2010 to 2011, and Rockdale Independent School District in Rockdale, Texas, between 2009 and 2010. During an earlier stage of his career, Mr. Reeves taught and coached sports at the College Station Independent School District from 2002 to 2009.
As a dedicated member of his community, Mr. Reeves is a member of the Springs Community Church in New Braunfels. Among a range of activities, he is dedicated to serving on the worship team and participating in community groups.
Mr. Reeves is highly educated, having graduated with a Bachelor of Science in kinesiology from Texas A&M University in 2001 and a Master of Education in educational administration from Lamar University in 2008.
