After earning a bachelor's degree in business with a concentration in housing management and a minor in marketing from Winston-Salem State University in 1981, Ms. Webb embarked on a longstanding career in business analysis. In 1988, she started her career with Delta Air Lines working her way up to business development analyst in the mid-1990s until her retirement in 2013. For two and a half decades, she excelled in the role. However, backed by a wealth of knowledge in the leisure, travel, and tourism industry, Ms. Webb joined Delta Vacations as a business development manager shortly after retiring.
Since obtaining her role with Delta Vacations, Ms. Webb has promoted the leisure aspect of the business. During the COVID-19 pandemic, her role was to promote the Delta Air Lines and Delta Vacations Clean Travel Protocols outlying how and where to travel. In 2023 she was promoted to Sr. Business Development Manager increasing her opportunity to contribute to the company's continued growth through dedicated projects and leading focus groups. In conjunction with her work, she contributes to her community through her church. Similarly, she dedicates herself to Boulevard, a mentorship program that connects mentors and mentees in a professional setting. For her considerable achievements, Ms. Webb received the Platinum Circle Award from Delta Vacations in 2017 and 2023 and was nominated for the Presidential Circle Award in 2018 and 2019.
While her career has been filled with highlights, Ms. Webb takes pride in transitioning from Delta Airlines to Delta Vacations at 54 years old; her delight in working with people made her decision even more fulfilling. She takes pride in seeing her son and daughter's success as they pursue their career paths, one as an Electrical Engineer - Project Manager and the other as a successful entrepreneur. Within the coming years, she looks forward to her continued time in sales helping to build strong partnerships within the agency community and as a DEI advocate internally and externally for Delta Vacations.
