Currently serving as the dean of career development at Brigham Young University (BYU) in the J. Reuben Clark Law School since 2020, she oversees a team of professionals and plays a pivotal role in fostering employer relations and supporting law student career planning. Prior to her current role, she was the director of career services and data analytics at the institution from 2019 to 2020.

Before joining BYU, Ms. Grandy Larsen worked as an associate attorney at Wishnic & Jerushalmy Law Group in New Brunswick, New Jersey, between 2011 and 2019, where she led the workers' compensation practice and supported various cases ranging from criminal to municipal matters. Her legal acumen was also honed as she worked as an of counsel at The Allongo Law Firm LLC in Bound Brook, New Jersey, from 2018 to 2019. During this time, she contributed her expertise as a court-appointed attorney to represent numerous alleged incapacitated individuals in guardianship proceedings in the New Jersey State Court.

While a student at BYU, Ms. Grandy Larsen participated in its international volunteer program in Guadalajara, Mexico, and volunteered at the Provo Family Justice Center and the Slate Canyon Youth Detention Center. Moreover, she was recognized as a leader for the Reuben Clark Law Society student chapter, the Women in Law Forum, and the International Law & Religion Symposium student board.

Looking ahead, Ms. Grandy Larsen envisions leveraging her skills and expertise to benefit other professionals and organizations while collaborating on professional development initiatives. She also harbors aspirations of authoring a book to share her insights with a broader audience. While content with her current role, Ms. Grandy Larsen is open to returning to legal practice, exploring new areas such as in-house settings or representing vulnerable populations in public service roles.

Ms. Grandy Larsen is highly educated, having earned a Bachelor of Science in marriage, family, and human development with a minor in Spanish, magna cum laude, in 2008 and a Doctor of Jurisprudence, magna cum laude, in 2011 from BYU. She also received credentials as a court-certified mediator.

Ms. Grandy Larsen is affiliated with several industry-related organizations, including the New Jersey State Bar Association, the National Association for Law Placement, and the Utah Women in Higher Education Network.

In recognition of her exceptional service and leadership within academia, Ms. Grandy Larsen received the BYU Law School Faculty Recognition Award in 2021.
