Inspired by his father and grandfathers, who all served in the United States Marine Corps, Mr. Wiseman followed in their footsteps, joining the United States Marine Corps in 1989 and retiring as a Sergeant Major in 2015. For over two and a half decades, he dedicated himself to his country before joining SOC LLC in a civilian capacity. Between 2014 and 2020, he worked for the organization as a Protective Security Specialist, Shift Leader, Protective Security Operations Chief in Somalia, and Deputy Operations Manager for Security at the embassy in Baghdad, Iraq. Additionally, Mr. Wiseman gained valuable mentorship expertise as the director of a Leadership Academy in the United States Marine Corps.
An expert in his field, Mr. Wiseman earned an Associate of Science in general studies from the City University of Seattle. Subsequently, he was inducted into the National Society of Collegiate Scholars while matriculating at Penn State University. He completed several courses in the military, including the Field Grade Officer's Winter Warfare Planning Course, the Senior Enlisted Professional Military Education Course, a Senior Enlisted Joint Professional Military Education Course, a Marine Air-Ground Task Force Operations Course, and an Emergency Response Team Course. Similarly, Mr. Wiseman graduated from the U.S. Marine Corps Command and Staff College Distance Education program.
Due to his vast breadth of professional knowledge, Mr. Wiseman has been featured in Millennium Magazine. Likewise, he received a Meritorious Service Medal, two Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medals, and three Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals. As a civilian, he earned the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. While his career has been filled with highlights, Mr. Wiseman takes the most pride in being in charge of the largest security footprint in the Department of State for the largest embassy in the world. As the Deputy Operations Manager for Security in Baghdad, Iraq, Mr. Wiseman led over 600 security personnel in the defense of the embassy during the New Year's attack in 2020.
Alongside his work, Mr. Wiseman contributes to his community through the local Masons. He is also an Ambassador and Congressional Liaison for Christians United for Israel (CUFI). This organization supports Israel and fights against anti-Semitism by actively addressing these issues with elected representatives on Capitol Hill. He is also a member of John Hagee Ministries. Though hard work and dedication have brought him far in his career, he credits his success to his grandfather, who has been his inspiration. Looking ahead, Mr. Wiseman aims to utilize his expertise in the defense contracting industry.
